An open room off the hallway contains boxes with sharpie scrolled labels like books, electronics and the hyper specific living room - HEAVY!!!. The unused fireplace has become the resting place for the flatscreen tv, cords lifelessly dangling off the ledge. To the left is a bookcase - sturdier than the price you paid for it - with shelves resting against its side. A coffee table sits empty and unceremoniously in the middle of the floor on top of a rug someone had the decency to unroll before placing the table and couch in the room. The space is under construction, and once posters cover dents and blemishes it will almost seem like this space is yours, has always been yours, and will never be anything but yours.
